The L.A. Suns was
founded by 8 men who enjoyed sports, particularly soccer,
and wanted to create a team on which gay men would feel
welcome. The club provides a comfortable, supportive environment
for learning and playing the world's most popular game.
It fields competitive teams in local mainstream leagues
and in the International Gay and Lesbian Football Association's
(IGLFA) annual World Cup.

WHSC fields one to two teams in the Los Angeles Municipal league, depending on the number of players interested.
The Club offers a healthy
recreational outlet year round with its weekly practices.
Practices are held in West Hollywood, CA on
Friday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. League games are held
every Sunday. For more information click on the "Want to Play?" link on the home page.
Active Members participate on teams
entered in local leagues and international tournaments;
we are always looking for additional experienced players
(you don't have to be a star) Associate Members participate
in the club's weekly practices, skills training, and recreational
scrimmages, but do not join teams either because they are
learning the sport or cannot commit the time for league
or tournament play.
